Fees & Rebate Information

Fees are $270 per session (50 minutes in length) and payable via reception on the day. Any rebates you are accessing can also be processed at the time of payment on-site via HICAPS.

Medicare Rebates

Medicare rebates are available for 10 sessions per calendar year for individual therapy, and an additional 10 sessions per calendar year for group therapy. To access these rebates you will need to visit your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist prior to your first appointment with Ashlee, and explain your mental health concerns. If visiting your GP, you may need to request a longer appointment so that they have adequate time to develop a Mental Health Care Plan. The GP will then provide you with the Mental Health Care Plan and a referral. You will then need to bring these documents with you to your first appointment, along with your medicare card. Alternatively, you can email these documents to Ashlee prior to you first session.

The Medicare rebate is $141.85 per session, meaning the gap-payment (out-of-pocket) is $128.15.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on your policy, you may be eligible to claim a rebate from your health fund provider. Only one rebate may be claimed per session (i.e. only one of Medicare or Private Health rebates). Your rebate will depend on your level and type of cover, so please call your Private Health Fund for more information.

Some people access sessions without a mental health care plan or private health rebates, each person and situation is different. Please feel free to email or call if you are unsure about which payment method best suits your needs and we can discuss this further with you.
